Reading the “Aftermath” of the Revised Two Logistics Laws from the Front Lines
Public and private sectors, shippers, and logistics operators discuss the “2nd LogiPalette Forum”
You understand the articles—so what has actually changed on the ground? Key issues in the implementation phase
Logitec Inc. (hereinafter “Logitec”; head office: Minato-ku, Tokyo; Representative Director: Takashi Nawata), a member of the CAMCOM Group that addresses social issues related to “work” through business, will host the 2nd LogiPalette Forum, “Where Logistics Reform Stands Now—and What Comes Next: The Realities of Implementation Brought by Legal Revisions,” on February 4 (Wed), 10 (Tue), and 19 (Thu), 2026.
In the logistics industry, following the enforcement in 2024 of the revised logistics-related two laws (*1), “how to implement the制度 in day-to-day operations”—including contract management and visibility into actual transportation structures—has become a major challenge. With these issues as the core theme, this forum will bring together speakers from government agencies, shippers, logistics operators, and academia. Going beyond background context and article-by-article explanations, discussions will focus on what is happening on the ground, where the gaps lie, and practical points for execution—examined from multiple perspectives.
*1: Refers to the “Act on Advancement of Integration and Streamlining of Distribution Business (Act on Streamlining Logistics)” and the “Motor Truck Transportation Business Act.” (Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism; revised law enforced on April 1, 2024)
