Graduates of the “LogiCare” Practical Logistics Training Platform’s Forklift Skill-Up Program Begin On-Site Work
Addressing labor shortages through end-to-end support—from talent development to retention

Logitec Inc. (hereinafter “Logitec”; head office: Minato-ku, Tokyo; Representative Director: Takashi Nawata), a member of the CAMCOM Group that addresses social issues related to “work” through business, conducted its “Forklift Skill-Up Training Program,” offered through the practical logistics training platform “LogiCare,” for two participants with no prior forklift work experience. After completing approximately one week of training at Logitec’s Shin-Narashino Warehouse, the graduates began working at a logistics site in Saitama Prefecture and at Logitec’s Koto Warehouse, respectively. They are currently engaged in on-site operations using forklifts, such as pallet transport during inbound and outbound processes and putaway to storage locations.

“Forklift Skill-Up Training Program” with support from safety education through post-assignment retention

Logitec’s “Forklift Skill-Up Training Program” is a hands-on, practical training program. The curriculum is designed to help participants reach an operational, job-ready level in as little as two days. By seamlessly connecting safety education, skill development aligned with operating manuals, and post-assignment retention support, the program enables the adoption of “safe, reliable, and standardized movements” required in logistics operations.

Practical training designed to build job-ready capability
A hands-on program conducted in a training facility that recreates real warehouse conditions, where participants operate an actual forklift and work through assigned tasks.

Comprehensive learning materials
Participants can repeat preparation and review as many times as needed using both text materials and videos, enabling efficient learning of correct know-how.

Employment support aligned with skill level
Those who pass the certification test receive employment support. Assignment options and hourly rates vary depending on the assessed skill level.

The training begins with fundamentals of safe behavior. It then moves into practical training on the basic actions for driving and load-handling operations, with repeated practice and an emphasis on confirming key actions while stationary. Finally, the program connects to OJT at the assignment site. In addition, tools such as skill check sheets, evaluation forms (assessment axes: technical skill, speed, and mindset/attitude), and feedback sheets are used to conduct objective evaluations and determine proficiency.

After placement, Logitec continues follow-up support to reinforce the safe behaviors established during training, leading to more stable operating quality and helping prevent turnover. Guided by the philosophy of “Logitec as a company that develops logistics talent,” Logitec provides end-to-end support—from developing job-ready personnel to supporting their placement on-site—while strengthening its organization to deliver safe, secure, and high-quality logistics services.
