Logitec to Exhibit at the 6th Kansai Logistics Expo; President Masaomi Kawamura to Speak at the Seminar

Logitec Inc., a member of the CAMCOM Group that addresses social issues related to “work” through its business activities (head office: Minato-ku, Tokyo; Representative Director: Masaomi Kawamura, hereinafter “Logitec”), provides comprehensive support for the many challenges facing the logistics industry by leveraging a logistics network of more than 1,500 partner companies and offering multi-faceted solutions.

Focusing on on-the-ground issues such as driver and on-site staff shortages, securing and effectively utilizing warehouse space, seasonal demand fluctuations, and uncertainty around acquiring new projects, Logitec’s distinctive strength lies in its “resource-sharing” model. Rather than starting from scratch, we “nurture and make the most of what already exists,” matching the optimal resources to each client’s needs.

At the 6th Kansai Logistics Expo, to be held on April 9, 10, and 11, 2025, we will present this full range of services in one place and showcase new options available to transport operators and logistics companies. In addition, on Thursday, April 10, from 11:50 a.m. to 12:20 p.m., Logitec President Masaomi Kawamura will speak in a seminar session. Focusing on the increasingly critical area of driver recruitment, he will introduce common patterns shared by companies that have successfully overcome labour shortages and highlight the key points for solving recruitment challenges.

Title:
“The Real Reason Behind Driver Hiring Difficulties Was Actually ○○?!
The Truth About Driver Recruitment and the Common Patterns Among Companies That Solved Driver Shortages”

Since the so-called “2024 logistics issue,” driver shortages and hiring difficulties have been widely discussed—yet what should companies actually do to recruit drivers in realistic, practical terms?
In reality, many companies know they need to take action, but find the issue hard to grasp, label it as “too difficult,” and end up unable to move forward.

Logitec, which has experience in a wide range of hiring approaches—including recruiting inexperienced workers and overseas talent—will share practical hints for solving these challenges. We will walk through “best-fit” solutions tailored to different corporate situations, along with real-world case studies of companies that have successfully hired drivers.

Logitec’s Solutions

■ Logitec’s Four Core Solutions
Logitec addresses every type of challenge on the logistics front line—from staffing and on-site operations to transport and warehousing—through its multi-faceted “LogiPalette” solutions. By providing end-to-end support, we help our clients turn their “it would be great if we could do this” ideas into reality, while also coordinating with the most suitable transport partners for each project.

Solution 1: Handling projects that demand high-quality service
→ Logitec 3PL Services https://logipalette.jp/

Leveraging the talent network and the expertise in training and management unique to the CAMCOM Group, a comprehensive human resources service provider, Logitec is able to handle even the most quality-demanding projects. By providing one-stop support—from order processing and picking to inventory management, value-added logistics (kitting), packing, and delivery—we reduce the burden on shippers while maintaining and improving operational quality.

Solution 2: Shortage of drivers
→ Driver Pit / Foreign Driver Placement Services https://logi-tech.co.jp/dorapi/

Driver Pit is a service designed for clients who still struggle with driver shortages even after focusing on hiring experienced drivers. Based on each project’s requirements and the types of cargo handled, we design and arrange an optimal mix of veteran, experienced, and entry-level drivers. For entry-level drivers, Logitec also provides training and development programs.

In addition, by leveraging the CAMCOM Group’s network, we can introduce and dispatch Vietnamese Specified Skilled Worker drivers (motor vehicle transportation). After being hired in Vietnam, candidates complete a Japan-focused curriculum at partner Japanese language schools and driving schools. Logitec then offers end-to-end support, including conversion to a Japanese driver’s license and visa-related procedures. Through this scheme, it becomes possible to hire driver groups on the scale of several dozen at a time—something that is extremely difficult to achieve solely through domestic recruitment.

Rather than being constrained by the highly competitive market for experienced drivers or by domestic hiring alone, Logitec builds a sustainable talent pipeline by developing the right number and level of drivers in line with each project’s content and scale.

Solution 3: You have trucks, but lack freight or people
→ Logitec Agency Transport Services

Logitec’s agency transport service (“riyō unsō”) acts as a transport intermediary that stands between shippers and carriers, concludes transport contracts, and assumes responsibility as the contracting carrier. In addition to complex delivery coordination that requires extensive experience and expertise, Logitec provides one-stop support that also covers in-warehouse operations and worker arrangements, allowing shippers to concentrate on their core business.

Solution 4: Difficulty securing warehouses or on-site staff
→ “Sabakeru” – Warehouse Matching Service https://logi-tech.co.jp/sabakeru/

It is a matching platform that connects “shippers looking for warehouse space” with “warehouse operators seeking to improve utilization rates.”
Dedicated coordinators support optimal matches that benefit both shippers and warehouses, such as making effective use of idle space and outsourcing value-added logistics and processing operations.

■ Launch of Owned Media “LogiPalette Journal”
To create a place where people across the logistics industry can deepen their understanding of its questions, challenges, and future outlook, Logitec has launched a new owned media platform, “LogiPalette Journal.” By sharing insights from the front lines of logistics and engaging with industry stakeholders, we aim to contribute to the industry and help drive its further development.
