Logitec Invites Chiba Prefecture Cosmetics Industry Association to Minami-Funabashi Warehouse for a Logistics Facility Tour
Logitec Inc., a member of the CAMCOM Group that addresses social issues related to “work” through its business activities (hereinafter “Logitec”; head office: Minato-ku, Tokyo; Representative Director: Masaomi Kawamura), invited 22 participants from 13 member companies of the Chiba Prefecture Cosmetics Industry Association (secretariat: Yachimata City, Chiba Prefecture; Chairman: Dairo Takimoto) to its Minami-Funabashi warehouse, which holds a cosmetics manufacturing license, in September 2025 and held a “Logistics Warehouse Tour.”
As part of the Association’s annual factory tour program for its members, Logitec became the first logistics warehouse to host participants, in place of the cosmetics manufacturers’ production sites that had been the sole destinations in previous years. This represents a groundbreaking development in the cosmetics industry, where interest in logistics operations is growing, and it was also a highly meaningful initiative for Logitec.

Significance of the “Logistics Warehouse Tour”
During the tour, Logitec provided an overview of the basics of “what a logistics warehouse is,” explaining the entire process from inbound to outbound operations. The program also introduced value-added logistics processes for licensed products such as cosmetics, as well as the facility environment, including the on-site lounge and other amenities.
For many participants, it was their first time visiting a large-scale logistics warehouse. The tour offered a valuable opportunity to experience firsthand how logistics functions as a foundation that underpins product quality assurance and the stable supply of goods.
The Minami-Funabashi warehouse is characterized by its temperature-controlled environment through in-house air conditioning, systems designed to prevent shipping errors, and a favorable location combined with a comfortable working environment. These features are directly connected to key priorities for cosmetics manufacturers—namely “quality preservation,” “stable supply,” and “securing talent”—and therefore attracted strong interest from industry stakeholders.
Going forward, Logitec will continue to strengthen its handling of licensed products such as cosmetics and deepen collaboration with manufacturers and industry associations. Through these efforts, we aim to create and deliver new value from the logistics frontline.
