■ Logitec’s Initiatives Addressing the “2024 Logistics Issue”

From April 1, 2024, stricter limits on truck drivers’ working hours have led to concerns over declining transport capacity and difficulties in long-distance transportation—an issue widely known as the “2024 logistics issue,” which has become a major social challenge. For the logistics industry, which had already been facing issues such as increased shipment volumes due to the growth of online shopping and ongoing labour shortages, this situation is particularly serious. In this context, there is a strong need to build more efficient transport networks and to promote closer collaboration and workload sharing among logistics-related companies.

Leveraging the foundation of the CAMCOM Group, which operates staffing services, Logitec has built a logistics platform that matches its own resources—such as “people” and “locations”—with the delivery operations of shipper companies and logistics businesses including warehouses and transportation firms. Through this model, the company has built a strong track record in securing labour and workspaces, as well as in on-site operations management, and now provides services to more than 500 companies.

At a time when the development of efficient transport structures is critical to solving the challenges posed by the 2024 logistics issue, Logitec is working to strengthen collaboration between delivery companies and logistics operators through its matching services, thereby helping to alleviate labour shortages in the logistics sector and improve overall productivity.
